I was commissioned to create a book/webnovel cover for a series called Victoria Online: Inquisition. A dark and undead filled VR romp through a decimated 1840s London. I had a lot of fun working on this and the Author had a very strong idea of what he wanted out of the box so the project went quite well. Lately I felt like I have not been drawing enough people. Honestly I love to draw monsters and dragons etc the most but I do enjoy a good hero or villain now and again. So here are some of the things I have been working on.
I have actually never in the history of my magic playing ever built a sliver deck but ever since I first saw the weird little squiggles I have enjoyed their design. They look cool, have an interesting ability set and can exist anywhere. Allowing me to sketch a ton of variations over the years. Finally decided to paint 1 up based on my favorite plane of Lorwyn. A moonglove sliver, I suppose it would have at least deathtouch but I wonder what else it might do?
Working on my entry for the Three D Gun 2 Contest. I've already got most of it modeled but I do need to make the scene more interesting and texture everything of course. But this is my lighting test to figure out how I want it to look in the end.
Also some of the Wips leading up to it.
So by day I am in fact an Architectural Visualization Artist. Meaning I take buildings designed by architects and model, texture, and render them to present to clients. Due to this job I have had the time to improve and learn 3D software and I have finally begun trying to create my own things. I have made some random stuff but I am quite happy with this oil lamp I have created. Trying for something you would find in an archaic old mansion rotting in the woods.
